Can a red Ferrari ever be considered an appropiate choice of car for a gentleman?

Is a Ferrari strictly for the Nouveau Riche? Should one stick to something altogether more sedate and British (Although no-doubt designed by a German)?

Certainly not old boy, that's for the new money vulgar types, lotto winners and the like a true gentleman wouldn't been seen dead in something that uncouth. If it was a choice between driving one and walking I'd walk, and that's saying something, you know how I despise using my feet for anything other than kicking the servants old boy. Tip top.

Of course you are right old chap. I shall have the vulgar machine which I acquired during a wager immediately destroyed. Probably in front of some crisp-munching proles just to torment them.
