Goin to las vegas for new year but where should I stay?? thinking NYNY or the mirage??

Stay at the Mandalay Bay its beautiful it might not look as nice but instead of putting money on the look they put it in your room seriously its lovely and they have a massive wave pool out the back and like 6 other swimming pools and not thqat far a walk into the center like 2 mins plus its the furthist away from the rough side

Actually, on New Year's Eve it is better to be downtown. They have live bands (Well-known) and it's a lot of fun. It is blocked off and you need a wrist band to do it but it is all outside on Fremont St. (I think that's the name) I was there a couple of years ago. You can also stay on strip and take bus downtown if you decide you might like to do that.

I have just visited Vegas and I can Suggest you to spend your nights in Luxor Hotel or Venetian...Very good places and excellent service

I have stayed at both I liked NYNY it was fun and pretty cool and New, however the rooms are on the small side and the pool is not very good.

Mirage is my favourite hotel on the Strip great pool, nice rooms, great casino, central strip and the service is second to none

I stayed at the Stratosphere, it's out of the way of the strip but there is a monorail that takes 5 mins. We managed to get a room with a jacuzzi dirt cheap

Try the Flamingo if you are looking to save.

Its better then NYNY and cheaper. The location is superb as well.

I live there and Well I would have to say T.I (treasure island) is my FAVORITE, they have a pirate show eevry night on the strip outside the hotel, its a very clean and friendly hotle for a good price on rooms, they have an awesome night club there and awesome bars inside as well... others that are good are rio, luxor, planet hollywood is a MUST! ummm flamingo... theres plenty, have fun

I stayed at the Mirage this Feb. and it was really nice. The service and the price were both great. They are remodeling the hotel and the new rooms look fantastic!!! It's in a prime location too. I would give the Mirage 2 thumbs up!

Stayed at both hotels and had a good time. You cannot go wrong with one of these hotels. Personally I would choose Mirage because rooms are nicer IMO. Keep an eye on http://www.vegas-hotels-online.com for NYNY, Mirage and other hotel promotion offers.
