I'm travelling to Cleveland Ohio. Can anyone recomend dome things for us to do? I've got kids and a husband.

What hotel would you recommend? I've got a 25, 19, 7, and 6 year old boys and a 14 and 17 year old daughter that are traveling with me. Recommend some places to go and things to do please.

There's a place called Swings N Things http://www.sntfun.com/ in Olmsted Township that has Go Karts, Laser Tag, Miniature Golf, Paintball, Bumper Boats, Batting Cages, and an Arcade - probably something for everyone in your group.

Cleveland has a Children's Museum and their Western Reserve Historical Society Museum (which took over the collection of the Crawford Auto Aviation Museum) is exhibiting "Vatican Splendors" this summer. They are one of the few North American locations to receive this exhibit. The older kids might like the Vatican exhibit and the younger ones might like the cars and planes. Finally, any of the three indoor water parks (Great Wolf Lodge, Kalahari or Wildwater Kingdom) would also work with many age levels.

Cedar Point. If theres anything Ohio can claim to do better than anyone else in the world, its the roller coasters there. Of course It will probably cost you as much as a months rent in a Manhattan townhouse to take a family of your size there, but hey, you asked! Kelleys Island, Marblehead Peninsula, and Put-in-Bay, are near there also, all about an hour west of Cleveland City. Camping is best on East Harbor State park (on the mainland) or Kelleys Island State Park on the island, if you like that sort of thing.

Cleveland has a zoo, natural history museum, the Rock and Roll hall of fame. Any of these, Tower City Mall, or the Great Lakes Science center might make interesting daytrips.

Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation area is just east and south of Cleveland and is a beautiful place to picnic, hike, or just sightsee for a while.

Edit: The Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and museum is about 3.5 hours form Cleveland but admission is completely free and it showcases a ton of aviation history as well as displaying actual aircraft, many of which are open for perusal inside and out. If anyone in your family has an interest in aviation its worth checking out.

rock and roll hall of fame. Other than that I couldn't find anything interesting in cleveland. for your husband the football hall of fame is in Canton (about an hour away). check tripadvisor.com for more info on things to do in any city.

well, this isn't very close to Cleveland, more around the PA border, It is Geuga Lake. It was a great place to go on water rides!! like I said, its around 1/2 an hour to an hour out of PA.

Indians Game if you like baseball is something the whole family can enjoy. Someone already said the Western Reserve Historical Society that is a nice place to visit so is the Natural History Museum
