Does anyone know any websites where i can get good construction notes on how to build a side extension?

I want to build a side extension and I would like to do my own research on how it can be constructed so I can prepare the drawings myself.
Reason is because architects charge a lot of money and im a d.i.y person so can anyone out there help .........
