Show me another »Driving from Dallas to Vicksburg - where to stop off?
We're driving across the States next week, taking 3/4 days to drive from Dallas to Memphis through Louisiana and Mississippi. We're looking for tips of places to stop off in East Texas & North Louisiana, plus any advice for hotels/routes etc through Mississippi. Thanks!

I visited Graceland a few years ago... it's not far from I-40. Be careful in Little Rock (it's a pretty seedy area just off I-40). Other than that you could go south to Baton Rouge or New Orleans.
