Where can I get a cheap motel room within a couple of hours of Cardiff?

Travelodge, etc looking at going to the Springsteen gig, but don`t want to spend a barrel load on a room. Thanks.

There's a backpackers hotel just a short walk from the city centre

do a search for "cardiff accommodation". It will bring up guest houses, motels, etc. If you book early enough with travellodge.co.uk, you can sometimes get rooms for about £19.

no need to go a cople hours away of Cardiff! You can stay in the middle of the city centre for about£35 a night in the very basic places. Search expedia.com

in wenvoe, about 10 minutes from centre of town but quite quiet and cheap coz its a diddy place that noone knows about:P
there is a travel lodge thingy there...
