Good places to stay in Dunkirk, Ypres or Flanders?

Question

We're going to be going to visit the WWI areas of Europe later this year and would like to know where the best places (B&B's, Hotels, Resorts, etc...) would be to stay while there.

Belgium, Netherlands and France generally will be the main focus areas.

If you have any experience staying in these areas, your advice is appreciated.

great holiday were were there in march but were staying in Gent fab city and we were in the Ibis hotel they are a chain around the world very reasonable and comfy spotless try this?http://www.tempelhof-ypres.be/http://www.europeanexplorer.com/belgium/… hope this helps you hav a great time

Ostend is a good place to be based, it is on the coast and can be reached by ferry from the UK, or trains from Brussels. It is a lively town, with good connections.
Check out www.booking.com or www.venere.com for hotels. You can look to see what is available, read other customers reviews. If you book you do not pay until you have stayed.

We camped in Bayeux a few years ago and it was very nice. It was fairly central for alot of the museums and also had a lot of history of its own. Id recommend it.
