How you travel there depends where you are flying from ? There are lots of flights through Japan to Guam if you are flying from North or Southeast Asia. From Australia Continental fly from Cairns to Guam. From the USA I would 'guess' you don't need a visa but check Continental Airlines who operate Continental Micronesia.
