Have not actually stayed there, only visited very quickly last summer as we were on our way from Piran (Slovenia) to Venice (Italy) on Prince Of Venice catamaran. But, I highly recommend you to visit either Portoroz in Slovenia and Venice in Italy -they are both great places!
