Legal district?

Question

Quest on Eden is the newest 4 star designer apartment hotel in the heart of the legal district and next to Auckland University. Could anybody help to give details on this " legal district "? Thanks in advance!

I live very very close to this building. I wouldn't take the description as the 'legal district' seriously - it is right by the High Court and the University's Law School, but that's pretty much it as far as that goes.

Where did you get the information? Quest on Eden isn't a very new apartment and I haven't been inside but I wouldn't call it designer... the area is very Asian-populated (students/student aged) and not overly classy or anything. There's a big empty lot right across the road and unless you get lucky it doesn't look like your view would be much more than the neighbouring apartments - from what I can see there's about three or four packed in quite closely there.

It is near the High Court. Actually, i am pretty sure the Environment Court is right near there also. I suspect the
'legal district' could be more a marketing ploy but it is in a good location if that is what you are concerned about.

I've never heard of this before...maybe you could email them directly and ask about this...

It's a Real Estate Agents "Buzz" word and just means that you are in walking distance of the Law Courts
