How much does it cost (on average) to go to Southern America?

Question

I don't wanna go to LA, New York etc, I wanna vist Texas, Alabama, Georgia etc. Real home Southern States.
From the UK. Also maybe how much are hotels do you think? For maybe 2 weeks. Are there nice places to stay in like Austin, Houston?

I am sure that you will find any of those Southern States quite exciting.
Huntsville, Alabama and Savannah, Georgia has a lot to offer.

Austin is not southern in almost every way, but it's an awesome place to visit.
Check out Charleston, South Carolina, Savannah, Georgia, Mobile, Alabama, Memphis and New Orleans for "real" Southern.
Houston is the most Southern city in Texas, but it's still not that Southern.
