Kia Rio windscreen washer bottle. Does anyone know how to get at it?

The windscreen washer on my Kia Rio will not pump water to the windscreen or the rear window, even though you can hear the pump running. I presume there must be a blockage somewhere or some gunk in the bottom of the bottle. However the bottle seems to be concealed in the body work of the car. Does anyone know how to get at it?

Have you tried cleaning the nozzles with a pin? That would be my first thought, along with, "is it freezing?"

as on most cars now they hide the damn things in the wheel arch, so it is jack the side of the car where your washer bottle is (after loosening wheel nuts) supporton axle stands or something sturdy and remove wheel then you have got to remove the plastic inner wheel arch or just the front part of it this should expose your washer bottle.
before you remove the pump remove the piping to it and get out of the way while some operates the pump to see if it is working, if it is then you have some dirt in your pipes star by taking the pipe off of the jets and poke a peice of stiff wire around in it the a thin peice of wire through the jet it self and reconnect pipe do the other side and then test making sure plenty of wtaer in the bottle.
Repeat the same for the rear

It should be located right behind the passenger side headlight in the engine compartment. On mine the container has a skinny bottle neck with a blue cap on top of it. Hope this helps
