Hotels in Beverly Hills area?

Question

hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me, im planning to go to beverly hills this year (i live in the uk) I wondered if anyone knew the folowing?

is there weather nice in april/may?
whats a cheap hotel, with a pool thats in B Hills thats not slap bang next to a major road?

For a hotel try the tower Beverly Hills. The prices are reasonable for the area.

Any specific reason you want to stay in Beverly Hills? If your plan is to do a lot of shopping and fine dining, Bev Hills is a great choice. Other than that Bev Hills doesn't offer much. Might I suggest Santa Monica? Santa Monica offers shopping, the beach, a decent night-life, and plenty of restaurants. It isnt far from Bev Hills; maybe a 20 minute cab or bus ride.

Don't worry about the weather; anytime is a good time to visit L.A. A lot of people live in L.A. for the excellent weather year-around.

I guarantee you will enjoy your stay here!

The weather is nice in that time of the year. Well every month is Beverly Hills and LA the weather is nice compare to other parts of United States.

Cheap hotel in Beverly Hills is going to be hard to find.
The majority of hotels in Beverly Hills are not located next to a major freeway.

A nice hotel with alot of history is the Beverly hills hotel.

Also Beverly Hills is not in the city of Los Angeles so you might look for hotels in West of Los Angeles if you want to stay closed to Beverly Hills.

there aren't any Hotels 'IN' Beverly Hills because it is literally a rocky hill side with famous people homes.. which you only see their gates, the gates are so high that you don't even see the lawn... plus its impossible to walk their , you need a car because there is nothing for miles of that area.

oh actually, i think there is ONE hotel there.. but its only for the extremmmmmllly rich!

you can stay in Hotels in or around Rodeo Drive (which is the next twon beside Beverly Hills).. but this area is the height of the tourist attractions so you are looking at spending a lot of money!

make sure you plan your time there wisely because there isn't actually anything to do in Beverly or Rodeo Drive except walk the hot streets or go into the most expensive stores in the world like Channel, D&G that sort of thing.
there isnt even a cinema.. just over priced resturants and clothes stores

You can stay in other cheaper areas and get a tube link to the tourist areas.
i stayed in the Japaness area.. (cant remember the name at present)
and we choice to travel by tube every where.. which was better because it didnt cost too much to travel.

the only cinema i ever saw out there was in Univeral Studios.. which over looked Beverly Hills.. and it cost $20 each to get in :S

so bring tons of money with you

oh and be prepared LA is nothing like any other part of America.. no one has an American Accent.. is it heaverly Mexican populated.. and there are soooo many homeless people roaming the streets. the place looks very dirty and there isnt anything to do or see.. they dont have a theatre or even a cinema there

First, the weather is very nice in April and May. Perfect. It's the best weather of the year.

OK, your next question borders on dumb. It's like me asking for a cheap hotel next to Hyde Park. Beverly Hills is a VERY desirable area, so it's going to be expensive. And most of the hotels are along Sunset, Santa Monica, and Wishire Blvd. Anything that is not on these major roads is zoned residential.

The closest hotel to your criteria is probably the Beverly Terrace Hotel.

Oh, you can completely ignore Christina's comments. I know more about London (of which I know next to nil) than she knows about Beverly Hills. Most of her statements are COMPLETELY WRONG or fabricated.
