motel room rates range anywhere from $45 u.s to $444 u.s. found a couple sites you can check out, makes me want to go!!!! i think the harbor plaza site was a little bit better w/the info you are after.

depends if you want to stay at the pennisula hotel or just the ymca hotel. there is a wide range im sure you can find something off yahoo. main meal again depends on what you want to eat. if youre not fussy and can do with just a bowl of noodles or a few dishes its not very expensive about $20- 30 HKD a bowl of noodles and $30-80 for dishes..

I stayed at the Salvation Army hotel which is in central Kowloon; it is excellent for the money. The YMCA is decent too and it is down at the bottom of Nathan Road beside the Penninsula. Many people on a major budget stay at Chungking Mansions but I wouldn't, it is way too packed with sketchy people hanging about the place. If you are gonna be in HK for a while and don't have to spend all your time there, I suggest spending a couple nights in one of the cool boutique style hotels (not the casinos) in Macau; it is cheaper and Macau is a really cool place if you want something a little different.
