March luxury beach holiday from London w/10mth old?

Hello!

Does anyone have suggestions as to how we can get away from London to get some sunshine in early March? As we have a 10 month old, we don't want to go too long haul, so Asia is definitely out, even the Indian ocean would be difficult.

Ideally we'd love a small, boutique type place. We prefer something like a villa or a beach hut to a large hotel. And the killer, we NEED babysitting services, as it would be great to have a little time alone - something that is so rare!

We have considered Oman and Dubai, but it seems to be predominantly mega resorts...

Our budget is reasonable, given our demands...

Additional Details

Perhaps I should clarify, it must be WARM enough to sunbathe, maybe even swim in the ocean, snorkel, etc...

OK, it's not going to be over-hot, but have as look at North Cyprus. You'll have plenty of sunshine, lovely countryside, the 10 month old will be cooed over by everyone who meets him/her. There are villas to rent, but in March, I might suggest a hotel such as the Dome in Kyrenia, with its good restaurant and newly reopened sauna. If you choose a decent hotel, babysitting should be easily arranged. For a pampering treat, you can always visit a day spa such as the Vaha, and best of all, it's only five hours flying time from the UK to Cyprus. See the web sites below for more info.

The oberoi in Mauritius is fantastic - look it up on line. we were there for 10 days last may and thoroughly enjoyed it. The accomodation is fantastic - what you are looking for, wonderful food and the staff were actually better than at the Burj where we had been for four nights before Mauritius. Failing that theres always Teneriffe, Lanzarote or Madeira. Whatever, have a great time wherever you go!

Hi - I think I recommended this to you in your other post - contact Wishcraft and tell them exactly what you need and let them do all the organising/contacting companies/booking for you - much easier, especially when you have a little one ;-)
