Manchester were to stay in between MEN arena and city center nice hotel?

The MEN Arena is pretty much in the city centre. It's just the other side of Victoria. It's less than ten minutes walk to Market Street, the centre of Manchester. There's a Travelodge or something around there, somewhere by the Printworks, I think.

Where not to stay - The Britannia. Worst hotel Ive ever had the misfortune to stay in.

Stayed there last year took 3 hours to check in and was a complete waste of a night out.

It depends on how much you want to spend.

There's cheap hotels like the Ibis and Travel lodge and then there is the more up market ones like the new Hilton and the Radisson Edwardian (which is really nice).
