Hi there.Have been to Agadir and a great all inclusive is Iberostar Founty beach. My husband and I stayed here in January2006 and because my husband was re cooperating from surgery I had to go out of the hotel to the supermarket and chemist on my own and I felt totally safe. Was never pestered and the locals are very friendly. One taxi driver helped me find the only chemist open on a Sunday morning. The hotel is very clean and the food is great. The only thing you have to pay for is top brand spirits and cocktails but the all inclusive alternatives are just as good.My husband does regret not buying baileys at the airport as this was expensive in the hotel but he survived without it.Staff are great and you are right on the beach. There is a train that runs outside the hotel every half hour that takes you around agadir and you can get off and on when you want it cost about 60p so if you don't want to get a taxi(which are very cheap and run straight fro the hotel) you have an alternative.Hope this helps a little.Enjoy where ever you go.

Very informative & helpful. I have been looking at this hotel in brochures, so it is nice to have a good report on it.

Many thanks.

If you want a beach holiday, then go to Agadir as Marrakech is inland.

Both destinations have very good hotels and will cater for the single traveller, it depends on what you can afford really.

I would suggest going for bed and breakfast [maybe half board] as there are some super local restaurants in both places and the cuisine is very good.

If you want to visit the souks, I do suggest you take a guide with you, maybe someone from the hotel will escort you.

What ever you decide on, I'm sure you'll have a great time.
