    worth it how?

if you mean does getting higher miles per gallon make it worth the higher cost of the car.

    no.

if you mean if having a vehicle that makes less air pollution than an non hybrid one does.

then yes it is worth it.

If you live in California and some other states you can
drive in the carpool lane if you have a hybrid vehicle.

Judging by the high cost of a used Toyota Prius getting to work faster is worth it to a lot of people.

just on average the cost of a Hybrid is 2K or $3,000 more than the same car with a gas engine.

some states are allowing you to take a discount on your income tax for a hybrid purchase.

unless gas gets a lot more expensive or hybrids get cheaper
just looking at the dollars of it, it is not worth it.

how much money are you willing to spend to help save the earth?

Hybrids are NOT worth it. For MPGs diesel passenger cars are the future.

Nah there a load of b**locks, but in London you don't have to pay the congestion charge.

I did have a Honda hybrid, only got rid of it because my family grew out of it.
It did an average of 40 mpg around town, went up to 55 on motorway's.
That's not the point though, it's all about co2 emissions, it was very very low on emissions. Lowest company car tax bracket, plus an extra 1% less tax due to how efficient it was.
