Anybody stayed at Sofitel hotel in Agadir Marocco?

Question

I am going in March first to Marrakech(sofitel hotel ) than on to Agadir and back again to Marrakech. Has anybody done this trip ? and at what cost.

Well, I did not really stay in this hotel... unfortunately. But I had a visit to the hotel to see the rooms, garden and pool areas, beach area, restaurants, etc... (I work in tourism and I was doing some hotel inspections in Agadir, that’s why).
All I can say is, that I really found this hotel was really wonderful! A super luxury standard and the nicest thing was the private beach with kind of divans there, where you can lay and have a rest, get massages, etc.
There is also a great discotheque at the hotel where also local people go at lot, it’s a really hot place and much more modern as in many European sea resorts. It’s called "So" and it’s a combination between discotheque where there are many life acts, chill out bar and exclusive restaurant... yes, I have been there a couple of nights together with some friends who live in Agadir and I will repeat this summer...
This time I will try to get also my room at the Sofitel hotel.

stayed in Sofitels and they are of a very high standard not in Morocco Ive not stayed but other countries but I would imagine in Morocco it will be brilliant?

I stayed in both Sofitel Agadir and Marrakech and they are both just wonderful..
Marrakech is in the tourist area close to Mohamed 6 Bd and surrounded by 5 stars hotels, casinos and restaurants..enjoyed staying in it everytime..
Sofitel in Agadir is on the beach not very far from dowtown although I suggest you rent a car to visit the city...
Both hotels are pretty much expensive compared to other hotels in the area around 150 Eur/night for a standard room..
