Does anyone know about GrandKemang Hotel in Jakarta, Indonesia?

It was a great hotel. but as d ast said, I suggest you better book it around a month before, coz it's usually full around the end of the year. And it's almost christmast and new year, so I guess it's kinda full. Grand Kemang Hotel is a nice place to stay for foreigners. Many foreigners lived in Kemang, and many stores and restaurant got their workers speak English, so it wouldn't be so hard for you to get around, if you can't speak bahasa. Altough the road in front of the hotel is not so wide, and there used to be traffic, but I'll still recommend it as a good place to spend the night.

i helped organise an event at grand kemang hotel a few years back and the hotel offers a pretty good service and facilities. the hotel is located right in the centre of kemang - the area in jakarta known for expats' residence with great food and a range of entertainments (cafes, bars, clubs, art galleries.)

the place is usually fully booked around holiday season: christmas, new year's eve and school holidays (summer time june-august). if you're planning to stay there, you'd better check & confirm with the hotel before you leave.
