Depends what you class as mid-priced!

If you mean between £10-20,000, then the Ford Focus is easily the best choice. Great drive, excellent MPG, generally a work horse

personally i would go w/ one a few years old so it's hot but mid priced like the corvette or porshe

Mustangs are really reasonable. The new Focus is pretty cool too.

Hot cars are usually very expensive, but i'd have to say, the hottest, moderately priced sports car, is the BMW 335i coupe.

There's usually lots of hot cars there this time of night, you can see the smoke for miles.

I got a 1968 Plymouth Road Runner in real good shape I'll sell ya for $16,000.. Will hold it's value better than almost any new car you buy. But if I were gonna buy something mid price I would go with either a dodge stealth of Mitsubishi 3000 gt vr-4. Just my opinion, don't know what your "mid price" is or your car preference.

If you are really after a hot car (hot hatch) then the old Honda Civic TypeR is your best bet. Look for a clean car and one that hasn't been wrapped around a tree. These cars are better to drive than Ford Focus' though slightly more expensive if you by secondhand then you can use your left over cash on running costs.

Have a look at the Subaru Impreza.Only 1.5 but has the looks and feel of a lot more pricy sports car.Bit heavy on juice but with all wheel drive the benefits in handling,grip and fun in driving it is so worth it.So go on buy a Scooby...Do Do Do
