standing, because everyone else stands, so if you sit, you wont be able to see anything!

it so depends on where you are in the front row standing far away then you should be sitting. it really depends on the location of your seats.

I can't stand it when people stand in front of me. Who wants to stand for over an hour at a show? I think it's only cool at the finale and on-core

Unless it's an opera, play, or an orchestral performance, what's the use in sitting? You are going to want to dance the whole time and you'll be screaming and raising your hands so much that you'll be propelled in the air anyhow while at a concert. I don't even know why they have seats at concerts. Well, I guess it's so people can give their feet a break, but still. LOL :-D

It depends on which concert your going to, if its a rock concert then i would prefer standing!!! coz probably most of the people there are also going to stand. If its a jazz or RnB concert then its better off sitting to be able to enjoy the music

It will depend on the type of concert you're attending. I usually can be found at a Godsmack show when they're in the area, and we will stand the entire time. Seems boring and unappreciative to sit for a show like that! I've been to country concerts with the 'rents and that appears to be more of a sit down affair (although some people like to get up and do their little two-step or whatever). Operas and such sit until the standing O at the end.

The real question is what kind of music is being played like classical goes well with sitting but stuff like rock, metal, pop,r&b,and rap you wanna stand.

Well it depends on the venue and security setup. I was just at Ozzy/Rob Zombie on Halloween in Minneapolis and we had floor seats that were very close to the stage. Almost the whole front half of the floor area was seating, and everyone stayed in them. Security was massive as both artists came into the crowd and performed at times. This is a rare thing as most concerts are standing only and it tends to get more crazy the closer you are to the stage, but in this case it was different. Unless your in the nosebleeder seats you will probably be standing. The best scenario for me is a smaller venue where you can go on the main floor and get up front at any time, but I enjoy balconies that are close to the stage and away from all the crowd. Its rare to find a sitting concert, so just get use to standing and being shoulder to shoulder with everybody all night long.
