i had. had her operated on but it grew back, the kindest thing was to have her put her sleep in the end.

My family did have an otterhound that developed it. Unfortunately, he ended up feeling terrible and the best thing for him was to be put to sleep. Very tough situation....cancer is always hard to deal with.

We had a dog that was diagnosed with lymphoma at the beginning of August. She was stage 5 by the time she began to have symptoms that slowed her down or were noticable at all. We had to let her go only three weeks after the initial diagnosis as she was resistant to the chemo treatment.

Was there something in particular you were curious to know or understand?

We had a resuce that had lymphoma. An 8 yr old Doberman female. Group helped pay for chemo treatment, and she had 8 quality months before she went down again. She was over 9, and crashed pretty hard with fluid buildup around her heart and lungs. They drained the fluid, but the damage was so bad to her heart and lungs we had to make the dreadful decision to have her PTS. We let her go with her dignity.
