Condo hotel in United States?

Has anyone purchased a condo hotel in the Orlando in the United States and is it a good investment? What is the rate of return?? Thanks

I think you are better off investing in actual real estate and putting it in a short term rental program which is the same idea as a condo hotel. What happens with the condo hotels is that they steal your money, they keep a large percentage of the rental profits and you are left with barely any income to cover your costs. Trust me, I know this, that is a portion of my company and we deal with this stuff everyday. Do you mean timeshares? There are several down here to choose from. I am a fan of the Disney timeshares but don't personally own one.
