Clomid succsess stories?

Question

I asked a similar question yesterday without much response so im asking again im on my first round of clomid i took it days 3=8 im now at day 12 and usin opks as yet the only side effect i have is mood swings.Id like to hear your experiences with clomid the reasons for being on it and if you cocieved with howmany cycles etc...

My sister was taking Clomid and it hasn't been successful yet! Last month, her timing was perfect, her husband had been away on business for 10 weeks, so there was no sex, and according to her ovulation monitor, she ovulated the day he came home. They had sex 2-3 times and she elevated her lower half after and nothing! No baby! And you know that was some powerful sperm because there was a lot of it; he hadn't had sex in 10 weeks! She got discouraged, but she is not giving up! We are believing God for a baby SOON!!!

I was on clomid for a year... when I first started they didn't do any scans to check to make sure it was working and that i wasn't having compications the last few months I was seen at a fertility hospital so they did a scan every month and if I wasn't able to have the scan I didn't get to take the clomid

I was on it becasue my hubby has a low sperm count and we had been trying for 3 1/2 years no success.... I missed my last apt to get the scan done so i didn't take clomid for a month and the next month I got pregnant... so bassically I didn't get pregnant on clomid.....Now that I think abouti t the effects I had from clomid were NOT worth it for me! I think it stressed me out more and it made me a very mean person!!

But everyone is different hopefully it will work for you.. Just remember not to stress and try not to think about it too much

Hiya... I have not personally been on Clomid but knew someone who was. She was diagnose with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) and therefore could not have kids naturally. The doctor prescribed treatment of Clomid for her and she conceived within the first month of being on it. She then wanted a second child and again went on Clomid and conceived within the first month. I have heard the success rate is very good amongst women with ovarian problems. Good Luck :0)
