I'm thinking of a week's break in Egypt in early December.?

Question

It's a hotel and flight package probably staying in Taba Heights. at the Hyatt Regency. Any views there? What is the weather and climate like at that time around the Red Sea resort? Also, can we independantly book a tour into Jordan to visit Petra and book with hotel or do we have to book before going? I read that climate in Jordan is like England's winter in December, so does that mean two sets of clothing.

in egypt the wether is like spring now. however, jorden is a little bit colder.(take all kinds of outfits if u r comming to egypt.) the wether in red sea cities are warm, but normal in cairo and very cold in alex. i mean very.

Informative answer but my question was to find out the temperature in Egypt (Red Sea cities) in December when I'll be travelling as well as in Jordan (esp. Petra).

warm- hot in the day cold at night.

Take warm clothes as well. because it is a desert the temperature plummets at night. I went to the red sea in January and found that it wasn't very hot, but not cold either, just really windy where we were.
