If you looking to safe money, think again. The Las Palmas is average but for dollars more you can stay at a better place. I stayed at the Lotus Garden, it's about 3 blocks away from Robinson Mall. It's air-conditioned,24 hour security and they throw in a free breakfast. I leaned my lesson for staying in a budget hotel. If your not sure, just go to the hotel of your choice and check out the rooms, I always do. That's how I found the Lotus Garden.

I can say I am thankful for hearing about it from you, sir. The name sounds nice, as if its a name of a Spanish singing group. Xander, above, says its average but more expensive, and recommends another place. He seems to know what he's talking about, so I would listen. But if you really care about Las Palmas, then go for it.

I stay there every month on a 3 day business trip to Manila. The rate is about 1700 to 2300 pesos. The hotel is very safe and clean. It is not a new hotel so do not expect it too look that way. It is dated. It is in Malate about two blocks from Robinson Mall. The staff is very helpful. The owners of Las Plamas own three or four other hotels in the area.

I have a friend who stays there all the time he says its pretty good for the price. I usually stay at Casa Blanca just up the street. The older hotels offer much bigger rooms than the new ones and I find the staff more friendly. Also check the Cherry Blossom nearby the taxi entrance at Robinsons. Its a little more classy than the two above but still good value.

Las Palmas Hotel is located in the heart of vibrant Malate where night life is abundant which caters to everyones's needs , so if you're looking for a good night out , then I can recommend the place for you. Also , it's relatively safe in there . I stay there most of the time in my holidays.
