Actually there are quite a few, more than a hundred all over the country... Most any town in France that has "les-bains" after it, such as Aix-les-Bains, Amélie-les- Bains, Evian-les-Bains, etc. is located at or near a hot spring.
You can find a complete listing of the thermal spa towns (by regions) in the following website...
www.france-thermale.org
It is in french, but all you really need is the names of the towns, and from there you can look up the ones you want via any browser, such as google or here in yahoo...
Some of the most famous are Aix-les-Bains, Evian, Thonon, Divonne, Vichy....although there are many more...
Many of the best are in the Rhône-Alpes region.
You can find some in most parts of the country.
However there are none in Brittany, upper Normandie, Pays de la Loire, Centre or Picardie.
The further south you go, the better chance of having good weather...
