Where on a mitsubishi carisma 1997, is the flasher unit for the indicators?

Normally its housed in the dash nr the fuse box, and is a pain in the butt getting it out.

all import cars has the flasher inside the instrument cluster so when it get bad you have to replace the whole cluster....

or get the wiring diagram and then make a new harness for an external flasher so you can change it when it get broken
