I want to plan a suprise trip away for my boyfriend, any reccomendations?

He doesn't want to go to Paris. We have been to Prague. It needs to be quite cheap and only for a few days mid week, I have looked at London but a decent (stylish) hotel seems very expensive! Help!

Can recommend the Victoria Hotel near Richmond...stylish without being over the top, good food, near to Kew Gardens and the Thames and Richmond park...about £100 a night. if thats too much then its not for you...but a 'young' hotel...online at www.thevictoria.net. have a look...been three times and going back in Sept.

Come to Bath, it's very romantic. There are a huge selection of really nice b+b's in centre of town.

If you don't want to go really far, just go to some place close, like a town away or something like that. Get a hotel room there go to a restaurant. It might be local culture, but it's far enough away where you can forget you're at home!
My husband and I do it all the time, we live in Bismarck, ND so we go to Fargo. It's 3 hours away. It's inexpensive and you can have a lot of fun too!

Nottingham has a nice hotel called the park plaza hotel right in the centre of town ,it is very stylish and has a fusion bar/ restaurant which serves cocktails.....There is also a VERY good french restaurant a few minutes walk away called French Living which has divine food [and i am very fussy] and very good prices....We did this a couple of years ago for our wedding anniversary...
