How do you search the electrol roll?

Question

I am looking for my sons dad, or grandma. I was wondering does anyone know how i search the electrol roll and if anyone has ever had any success in doing so?

The library holds the electrol roll however you will need to go the library in the town they live as I believe it's local info only.

there's a web site just for this its called b4usearch , then click on people , its really good , good luck

You go the to the council office, local library or police station of the area where the person lives and you can examine it their.

A quicker and easier way is to find someone who has a copy of "UK-Info-Disc" this has the electoral register for the whole of the UK on one DVD and you can find anyone in a matter of seconds.

A great free site is 192.com, they have a people finder option where u can type a name/area etc and it shows u answers from this years electoral roll. If u only have a first name u can use the advanced search options, where u can put first name/area and it will give u a list. Another good one is www.onlinesearches.info, but they do charge a small fee.
