Can you have visitors in hotel rooms?

I am going to spain on buisness and staying near Gibraltar,i was wondering could friends visit me in my hotel room as i have lots of local friends.

as long as you let the hotel take a commission they will turn a blind eye

yes ..but night time over stays results in being kicked out...experience ..poor girls had to find them somewhere to stay..!!!

Yes, they can visit. Be quiet and courteous to those around you though.

I work in a hotel in th United States. We do not stop our guests from having visitors in there room during the day if they respect the rest of our guests as well as the hotel and its staff. As far as to sleep, we do not allow that. There is an additional charge for extra people in the room, and due to fire code there is a limit on how many people can sleep in one room. Your best bet would be to ask that individual hotel about the policies that have for that. Every hotel is different in what they will and will not allow.

should be fine,but no overnight stays. most hotels don't mind as it can bring in some extra revenue..... ie drinks etc.
