I find drinking plenty of water helps, dont go buying tablets as you can not be sure what is in them.

The best suppressant are natural, why anybody would want to go from one addiction (food) to another is beyond me.

    Learn to rely on yourself.

Alot of the times when we think we're hungry we are actually thirsty, drink water instead of eating and learn to decipher between the two.

Exercise. At least then if you do need to eat something afterwards you've 'made room' for it, and earnt it. I find I'm far less likely to want to hit the cupboard just to hit the cupboard after I've exercised. Run, cycle, swim, jump and and down, whatever just do it.

If genuinely hungry eat, starving yourself will do you no good, it will slower your metabolism and generally make it a lot harder to lose weight.

Now i know i am probably going to get some thumbs down for this but here ya go.

Ephedra is a highly publicized and criticized drug. If you have heart problems, a family history of diabetes or heart problems you should not take it. Around 3 people have died taking it, but the doses they took were around 50mg (almost 3 times the recommended daily intake) and they did have heart problems.

There are pills with ephedra and hoodia that only contain 10mg of ephedra per pill.
I have been using them for the past month and i find it easy to only eat about 1300-1500 calories a day. I take one pill in the morning before breakfast and one before lunch, then before dinner i do an intense cardio workout. I've been taking "Looking Trim EphedraP57 which is available in the UK.
People can say just use willpower, but sometimes its just way too hard not to eat until you feel nice and full.

    My 2 cents and experience.

Self control. That sounds lame but it really works. Don't eat too much, it would be best if you eat 5 small meals than 3 big meals..

Befor you eat, have a pint of water, this will fill your stomach enough that you will feel full quicker.

also, there is no need to suppress your appetite, just change what you eat... no harm in eating more fruit, increase your fibre intake and feel fuller that way.

There are pills you can take but these can lead onto adverse medical implications if not taken carefully.... ask your gp/doctor for guidance on this.

Try panbessy. It suppresses your appetite from morning til late evening . In this way, your body burns off the excess fats in the day. (p.s. you will have to see a doctor for prescription). Do not take it for more than 60 days. If you have not dropped to your desired weight after 60 days, you'll have to stop for at least a three weeks before continuing taking the pill.

    Here are some tips:

    1. drink plenty of water while you are on it.
    2. take it before nine in the morning.(only one pill per day)
    3. should you take fruits, do not take them after 3pm
    4. do not drink coffee after 1pm
    5. Eat a full meal in the evening. Please include your carbohydrates
    6. Should you decide to exercise, you can do so but please take a banana after your excercise and drink plenty of water
    7. Try not to eat during the day, you can however take fruits like papaya and banana and drink plenty of water.
    8. Carry a small bottle of water everywhere you go and sip on it often.
Hope this will jump start your weight loss programe my friend.....:)
