How to get from bologna airport to holiday inn florence?

depends on where you land. i landed in bologna forli. no train station. taxi to forli train station €10 cos bus timetable didnt suit me. 5 minutes in taxi. train from forli to bologna €3.80 - 50 mins. train bologna to florence smn €15 - an hour.
dont know where the holiday inn is but the public transport is excellent so i'd say theres a bus

on these trains a couple of weeks ago, these were the prices i paid but there are different types of trains, check http://www.ferroviedellostato.it/ for exact times and prices and make sure you validate the ticket BEFORE you get on the train and only sit in a second class carriage if you only have a second class ticket - not that there's a difference

Taxi from Bologna airport to Bologna train station then get a train to Florence and then get a taxi to holiday inn hotel.
