Does anyone know this place?

I stayed at a caravan site (Bron y wendon) in Lllandulas, and over the hill I can see an old hotel right on top of the cliffs, it is all boarded up, and can be well seen from the A55, what was the hotel called? Why did it close down, with such fantastic views? I hope someone knows!!!

Is it the 70 degrees hotel just ouside of colwyn bay,directly above the a55 expressway.Probably closed because no body goes along that road now as it used to be the main road into colwyn bay until replaced by a55

The first answerer is right it was called the 70 degrees, my dad used to gig in there years ago. i heard that it closed down as they were building behind it and as they were resedential properties they bought the hotel to eventually bulldoze so as it would not disturb local residents with noise etc.
