A lot of our friends have property in sunny beach. Dont buy in the hills as the gypsy!s squat and you dont have a leg to stand on. Same if you buy a house you can never own the land so they can come along and knock your house down. Safer buying an appartment with english speaking people to help you.

Absolutely! Bulgaria ia a beautiful country. Clean air. Tall mountains. Crystal clean air. Warm and friendly people. What's not to like?

A lot of people from the UK are moving there for these reasons. Plus, the cost of land is relatively cheap.

Best idea you could ever have, Bulgaria is a wonderful country full of great people.

If you wish to buy a property though, it is important to thnk about what you want as there is mountain ranges, beach resorts, quiet villages, bustling towns...my personal opinion would be to go for Plovdiv.
