I think the one you are looking for is the Waterford Castle Luxury Hotel which is on the Island.
The first family to live on the Island were the Fitzgerald family and remained in their name until 1958,when the Igo family of Rhodesia bought the property.In 1978 the Island was rented to to a local pedigree dairy family, who later bought the Island.
