Does anyone know of nice hotels for a family holiday within sensible distance of Rijeka in Croatia?

Don't really know exactly where Rijeka is - but Easyjet fly there for not a lot of money! Also how does the cost of things compare with, say, Spain or Portugal

It is in the north west region(Istrian Peninsular), a nice place for a holiday, not expensive. The resorts have no sandy beaches, but everything else is good for an enjoyable holiday. You can take a day trip to Venice, across the Adriatic, and visit scenic attractions in Croatia. The web-link below has info, including accommodation.

Croatia?Nice choice!If you go there you must visit Dubrovnik also.It's a fascinating city!
