I'm not sure if you checked out the fees on the embassy's website but I have attached the link.

I used to translate the documents for the Toronto consulate and the charges were for translation US$40.00 per page and legalizing them was US$75.00 per page. A regular wedding of two foreigners, without previous marriages would be US$460.00. This was for 4 documents in total, 2 birth certificates and 2 affidavits of single status. For every divorce or death certificate (if widowed) the price would obviously go up by US$115.00, translating and legalizing.

If your wedding is many months from now, then try getting your documents translated elsewhere, where they may have a better rate but make your you can get the translation certified. If the rate is very close or the wedding date is fast approaching, then just have them done at the embassy.

Legalizing the documents must be done by Dominican foreign representive nearest to you so I can't recommend to go anywhere else but to the UK embassy.

I hope this is helpful and good luck!
