How much should I sell my 2001 Fiat Punto?

Question

I'm thinking of selling my Fiat Punto, 2001 registration, no central locking, no electric windows or alloys. ABS and Air Bags though and brand new battery and exhaust. Bought for about €4,500 last year.

It depends if you need the money now or if you can wait for somebody to answer an ad.
How many km does the car have?!
I would try to sell for 3,700-3,900 Euro on some local newspaper.

I had a Punto from 2001 as well, with AC and electric windows, 72.000 km and sold it in germany to a dealer for 4,500 Euro in 2004.

www.autotrader.co.uk will give you a aguide on english prices but as a guide deduct 20% from what you paid in 2005

i own a repair shop,and it should still bring pretty close to what you payed for it,especially since you have the new updates on it that will help it sell better,and with fuel like it is now,,it hasn't lost much of its value at all,so you,ll probably get close to what you payed for it,if its in real good shape,,good luck selling it,i hope this help,s.

To be honest, I'd take the parkers and glass guide and throw them out the window, they're not regional and so completely pointless when you consider that used cars oop north are about 5 to 15% cheaper than in the south.

Price of your car is determined by the local (i.e. approximately surrounding 50 miles) market, so log on to www.autotrader.co.uk (or whatever your car sales website is in your country) and see what your model of car is selling for in other hands. Price yours accordingly to whats on the site and you won't go far wrong. Don't go near a garage, or they'll give you a stupidly low trade in price.

type parkers in google, here they will show examples of how much u should sell it for. You can put your specific mileage etc in but this costs or they show you the price for an average fiat punto 2001 hope this helps :)
