Manufacturers say that the potential for addiction is low. However, we must consider that there can be both physical and psychological dependency. When used in treatment of chronic pain, if it relieves the pain, how would you feel if it was suddenly withdrawn. I have taken 400mg daily in divided doses, for some years. On the odd occassion I have run out, and I tend to feel bad. This may be due to increased pain levels rather than withdrawal though. Consider this as well.
