What are the best things to do with children in Dublin?

I have three children, two boys (8 and 3) and a girl (6). What are the best / most fun things to see and do in Dublin during a summer weekend?

there used to be a circus school in temple bar on either a sat or sunday morning- meeting house square I think.
Check out the ark also in temple bar- loads of great stuff for kids

The zoo is brilliant and something for kids of all ages- also in phoenix park you can used wander play ball games or sit around by Farmleigh house where there's a pond and a cafe

The national history museum on merrion sqaure is also fantastic for kids http://www.museum.ie/naturalhistory/

and loads of free events go on during the summer just ahve to go looking for them

also good is simply feeding the ducks in stephens green- there's a pretty good playground there, if its playgrounds you're after go to Marley Park in Ballinteer as well and Tymon park in south dublin

have fun

Ride one of the two-part buses on the top. Or you could go and look at all of the Irish museums. Have fun. Take pictures.

Try a Viking splash tour on an ampbibious vehicle, around the Dublin sites.

The Zoo and Phoenix park are excellent too.

Lambert puppet theatre in south Dublin is very good, and can be combined with a trip on the Dart which hugs the coast of Dublin Bay

there are lots of things to do in Dublin with children..you could take an open bus tour through the city or if you want something more fun then take the 'Vikings Bus Tour'..this will bring you through dublin like any other bus tour but at the end of it they splash into the River Liffey and it becomes a boat tour then.
In the Phoenix Park is the Dublin Zoo which is quite impressive. the Phoenix Park is a couple of bus stops from the city centre (25a 25 66 66a 67 67a any of these buses will leave you right outside..they go from Westmoreland st which is right beside O Connell Street Bridge just tell the bus driver you want to get off at Phoenix Park) after the zoo then there is plenty of open space to have a picnic or for the kids to play..if you ask someone where the Papel Cross is(its in the Phoenix Park..ten mins from the entrance of the Zoo) there is a huge hill there that kids love rolling down..youl also see lots of people having bbqs.
I recently brought my little cousins and brother (aged 8, 11 and 12) to the Guinness Brewery and they loved it. it was so much fun for them to see how beer was made..at the end of the tour you can go into the glass bar which is on top of the factory and see all of Dublin..its amazing.
Just to mention any of the bus tours you take will bring you by these places..they have the option hop off and on..meaning you can get off in Guinnesses, have time to look around and hop back on the tour!
Theres lots of things to do with kids in Dublin, the above are just some of my favourites).from gokarting to visiting ENFO(an envoirment organisation for kids...it promotes envoirmental awareness) you can check everything out at www.dublin.ie
Hope you have a good time
