Hi, I’m Doug Liman, a film director and executive producer. Among other movies, I have directed “The Bourne Identity”, “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” and most recently “Jumper.”
After graduating in 1988, I directed my first feature project the comedy thriller “Getting In”. My first two biggest hits “Swingers” and “Go” helped me established my name within the film industry. I’ve also directed commercials for Levi’s, Playstation and Nike.
I am the founding partner of the production company Dutch Oven, which produces and distributes film and television properties including Terry Tate Office Linebacker and Cry Wolf. In 2003, I worked as an executive producer and director of the first episodes of the television series “The O.C.”
Outside of the world of filmmaking, I am an avid outdoor enthusiast and guide river trips, climbs and mountaineers.
