I am a researcher into all aspects of the Anglo-Norman 12th century; its palaeography, linguistics, numismatics, technology, furniture, costume, architecture, religion, folklore, agriculture, seals, literature, commerce and more. I read 12th century Latin (including the abbreviations), some Anglo-Norman French and early Middle English; I collect rare and out of print books on the subject and attempt to access Anglo-Norman documents and artefacts in museums all over the world.
Other interests include carpentry and woodcarving, photography, Ancient Egypt, the indigenous peoples of North and South America, history in general and music from the 1960s to the present.
